My Approach
I use a warm and individualized approach with every person. I take time to understand what brings you to therapy, what matters to you, and what you hope will change.
My work draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Depending on your needs, we may work on unhelpful thought patterns, practice ways to manage emotions, explore your values, or process painful experiences.
We’ll work together to find what helps, with space to adjust along the way.

Sometimes the harder we try to push away painful thoughts and feelings, the more stuck we feel. ACT helps you make room for those experiences, get clear on what matters to you, and take steps toward the life you want.

The way we think affects how we feel and what we do. With CBT, we look at patterns that may be keeping you stuck and practice more helpful ways of thinking and responding. We also build practical tools you can use outside of our sessions.

I draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you manage strong emotions, get through difficult moments, and communicate your needs. We practice skills like mindfulness, setting boundaries, and responding thoughtfully when emotions feel overwhelming—with room for both accepting yourself and making changes.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Sometimes painful experiences continue to affect how you feel about yourself and respond to the world, even long after they’re over. EMDR helps you process those memories using guided eye movements or other alternating stimulation, such as tapping. We begin with preparation and coping skills, then work at a pace that fits your needs.
